coursework.
This is the PRELIMINARY
TASK
This must be completed and posted onto your blog
before you begin the THRILLER
COURSEWORK
The preliminary
task is a
demonstration of CONTINUITY EDITING. It must show you can successfully use:
- Match on Action
- Shot/Reverse Shot
- 180 degree rule
- Eyeline match
In the sequence we should see the following action
unfold:
- Character A walks towards a closed door
- Character A enters through the door and crosses a room to where character B is seated.
- Characters A and B exchange a few lines of dialogue.
- There is at least one use of an eyeline match
- Character A exits the room
Script:
Character A Enters the room and walks toward Character B.
Character A: Do you have it?
Character B: What’s the password?
A: Which way are the birds
flying?
B: South. Have you got the money?
A: Yes. (Hands over envelope)
Character B hands over the package. Character A exits the room.
